Potter's Biography

1969	Born in Kyoto.
1988	Graduated Kyoto Art High School, Department of Art Design. (present Kyoto Reimei Gakuin Kyoto Art Senior High School)
1990	Graduated Kyoto Saga University of Arts Junior College, Department of Ceramics. Served his apprenticeship under Shigeya Iwabuchi, board member of The Japan Crafts Association. Also worked at Sangama, Kagawa prefecture.
1994～08	Worked at Yusuian, Nara prefecture.
1995・99	Exhibited twice in "Yuyukai Clan Exhibition" at Central Gallery, Osaka.
1998～2012	Awarded at the 25th "Exhibition of Japanese Traditional Art Crafts of Kinki Area", continuing into the 26th, 28th, 30th to 36th, 38th to 43st.
1998・02	Awarded at "Beermugrankai Exhibition 2" and "Beermugrankai Exhibition 4".
1999	Awarded at "Japan Craft Design Competition '99"
2000・07	Awarded at the 38th and 45th "Asahi Ceramic Art Exhibition"
2001	Awarded at the 8th "Exhibition of Ceramic Art for Flower"
2002・06	Awarded Prefectural Assembly Chairman Award at the 53rd and　57th　 "Exhibition of Nara Prefecture".
2003～05・07・10	Held a solo exhibition at Craft Studio in Kintetsu Department Store, Nara. Awarded at the 2nd "Sakenoutsuwa Exhibition".
2004	Awarded Kenten Award at the 55th and 59th "Exhibition of Nara Prefecture".
2006・08・12・13	Held a solo exhibition at the Art Gallery in Kintetsu Department Store, Abeno.
2008	Founded "Musubigama" in Kawai-cho, Nara Prefecture and became independent.
2009	Held a joint exhibition "Ga Koku Tou" with Japanese-style painter Junichi Matsuda at the Art Gallery in Kintestu Department Store, Nara.
2010	Awarded at the 57th "The Japan Traditional Art Crafts Exhibition". Collaborated with French cuisine chef Akihiro Yamada and Japanese-style painter Junichi Matsuda, in an exhibition at GRANDVIEW Restaurant, The Westin Miyako Hotel Kyoto.
2011	Awarded at the 21st "Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition". Held a 5 artists' joint exhibition as a "Sansan Kai" member at the Art Gallery in Kintetsu Department Store, Nara. Held a solo exhibition at Yakushijimon-mae AMRIT.
2012	Exhibited in "WAN - a variety of forms", at Gallery Voice, Tajimi. Held a group exhibition "Tou" with Takuya Kanemoto, Akemi Suzuki, Utsuwa Utatane. Exhibited at "Tsukau/Kazaru/Kurasu (Use/Decorate/Live) "by Nihon Kogeikai Kinki.
2013	Awarded at the 60th "The Japan Traditional Art Crafts Exhibition". Awarded at the 5th "Kikuchi Biennale". Awarded at the 22nd "Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition". Awarded at the 1st "toubiten". Held a group exhibition "Sangamareisan" with Tsutomu Kishi and Yasuki Tanaka Awarded at the 31st "Chouzashou".
2014	Awarded at the 20th "mino tougei shourokushou chawanten". Awarded at the 2nd "toubiten".
